Our Week in Review ...

It has been a busy few weeks for the MWA Team as we come into the final weeks of current MEPP Program, organising the ACT Convention Launch of "215 Million Reasons Why ... The Rights of Migrant Workers and their Families" and hosting "An Evening of Conversation with Minister Joy Burch, MLA this week.

On the MEPP Program front, we have been working closely with 5 women and their families and are proud to share the news that one of our participants has secured a new full time position in her chosen area of expertise.

The ACT Convention Launch of "215 Million Reasons Why ... The Rights of Migrant Workers and their Families" will take place on Sunday, 17 June at 10:30am.  We'd love to have you join us for the Launch followed by a Morning Tea.

215 Million Reasons Why

On Tuesday night we co-hosted a Dinner "An Evening with Minister Joy Burch, MLA" along with a Q&A Session where members of our community joined us for the evening asking the Minister questions surrounding areas of concern and raising issues that impact on their communities.
